(Google income) Who Are You Serving?

By Yvonne Bleakley

Before you even start thinking about going out there and marketing your business, you need to positively identify who you are marketing to, who is your ideal client. This is fundamental to the success you will enjoy. Most people are frightened to really hone in on their ideal client, instead trying to market to everybody, frightened of missing out on an opportunity. What this actually does though is have the opposite effect, because your message is so diluted, you end up not attracting anybody and certainly not your ideal client.

This process may feel totally alien to you at first, but I can assure you, it will make your whole marketing process much, much easier, as once you know who you are talking to, you can start thinking about what they need to hear.
So the message here is stop trying to serve everyone and anyone that comes your way. I know this is going to be hard for you at first but it will all make sense as you start attracting the right clients. I want you to niche your business so much that you will be perceived as the expert, the go to person for your ideal clients who have the problems or issues that you solve.
