When the tide goes out you can actually reach them by foot, heading to the smallest island and proceeding to the other two. The islands afford you stunning vistas of the estuary and the Welsh hills and are visited by seals and thousands of migrating birds. It’s an easy walk, great for kids, and ideal for a picnic.
